Roman Reigns Breaks Post-WrestleMania XL Silence, ‘Yesterday I Mourned, Today Is Day 1’
It’s day one for Roman Reigns.
At WrestleMania XL, Reigns’ historic run with the Undisputed WWE Championship came to an end, as he lost the title to Cody Rhodes in a match that fans are still talking about.
Reigns took to social media on Tuesday, April 9 to break his silence, noting that he’s back to work after taking a day to mourn his championship loss.

Throughout his 1,316 day reign with the belt(s), Reigns defended championships against the likes of Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, Goldberg, Daniel Bryan, John Cena, Edge, Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, LA Knight, and Drew McIntyre, along with many others.
It is currently unknown when Roman Reigns will return to WWE. Fightful will update fans when more information is known.
