The “We Want Cody” movement altered the road to WrestleMania XL, as the fans’ support for Cody Rhodes led to WWE pivoting back to the world title match between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. In the main event of WrestleMania XL Night Two, Cody Rhodes defeated Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a moment that delighted many fans.
The morning after the show, NXT star DIJAK took to Twitter/X and noted that it wouldn’t be today or tomorrow, but one day, fans would turn on Cody and boo him out of the building. DIJAK stated that when that day came, he would reference the post to say he was right.
It won’t be tomorrow, it won’t be next week, it won’t be next month, might not even be next year… but one day you guys are gonna turn so hard on Cody and boo his ass out of the building and when that day comes all I’m going to do is reference this post and tell you I was right.
