John Cena made his surprise return to WWE at WrestleMania XL Night Two. This marled his first live appearance on WWE programming since Crown Jewel 2023, where he lost to Solo Sikoa. He got involved in the main event of WrestleMania Sunday, where Cody Rhodes beat Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Cena then took to Twitter/X and said that he was grateful to spend time with the WWE Universe and be a part of WrestleMania. He congratulated Cody and noted that in WWE, the story never ends.

It is not known when John Cena will return to WWE programming. Cena is set to appear on the Pat McAfee Show on April 8.
