Becky Lynch explains where her attitude comes from.

Lynch’s attitude may be one of the most important parts of her rise to the top of WWE’s Women’s division. As The Man, Becky would carry a new confidence into her work both inside and outside of the ring, leading to a WrestleMania main event victory at WrestleMania 35.

While speaking to WNYT in a recent interview, Lynch was asked where she gets the attitude she carries in the ring.

“I’m born with it. I think there’s that thing of being Irish and feeling that oppression. We still have that chip on our shoulder from the British. We come out of the womb going, you know, we can’t let it go. Can’t let it go. We hate to be held down. We hate for people to put a limit on what we can do. If somebody tells us we can’t do something, it just it pushes us further. Oh yeah, we can’t do it? Just watch me.”

Lynch is currently scheduled to take on Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40 this weekend.

In a seperate recent interview, Becky explained why she continues to wrestle. You can read more about that here.
