Paulie Malignaggi has been speaking out against UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor ever since the photo was released of Malignaggi possibly being dropped by the MMA star.
UFC President Dana White was the one who released the short video clips of the McGregor/Malignaggi sparring session. That and other actions have lead to Malignaggi speaking out against the UFC President, calling him the Pillsbury Dough Boy.
“That fat f*ck Dana White,” Malignaggi said on The MMA Hour. “The Pillsbury Doughboy. You put a white hat on him and give him a white shirt, he looks like the Pillsbury Doughboy. I just want to punch him in his belly button, so he can go ‘hoo hoo hoo,’ like that little laugh from the Pillsbury Doughboy, you know?”
White has stated since he released the video that no editing was done at all, but Malignaggi still insists he was pushed down and not knocked down by the UFC Lightweight Champion.
Malignaggi also says that there is no Ali Act in the sport of MMA due to the actions of the UFC President.
“I never liked the guy," Malignaggi said. “I don’t think he treats the fighters fairly. I don’t think he treats the UFC fighters fairly. There’s no Ali Act in MMA because of him mainly, first and foremost. He’s one of the guys trying to prevent it from happening."
