On April 1, Fightful reported that Anthony Henry was one of the several wrestlers that AEW released in a round of cuts.
Henry subsequently took to Twiter/X and commented on the news. He wrote that the amount of support he was receiving during a very difficult time was amazing, and he appreciated all of it. Henry stated that he did not know what was next for hi, and whether wrestling was still something he wanted to pursue, as he was devastated. He noted that, regardless, he would always be a Workhorsemen.

Henry often competed on AEW and ROH programming as The Workhorsemen alongside JD Drake. They remain active on the independent scene, but Henry is currently sidelined with a broken jaw. More information is available here.
