CMLL star Volador Jr. was set to face Gringo Loco at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 8 on April 5. PWInsider recently reported that visa issues could prevent CMLL stars from competing at the WrestleMania weekend events and beyond.
Joey Janela took to Twitter/X on March 29 to announce that Volador Jr.’s match at Spring Break 8 was off, as he referenced issues regarding CMLL talent. He then named Dralistico as Gringo Loco’s opponent.
Gringo Loco commented on the news by saying that he will face Volador Jr. soon, but Dralistico was another dream match. He noted that he spent many nights studying Dralistico’s work.
Volador Jr will inevitably happen very soon. But this replacement is another Lúcha dream match for me . I studied this guy many nights at 2am wondering if we’d ever meet in the ring . It happens at JJSB8!. LONG. LIVE. LÚCHA . FN. LIBRE ! LFG—— pic.twitter.com/4KhBu0U4GP
