Arisu Endo Talks TJPW, Grand Princess ’24, Suzume, More | Interview

An exclusive interview with TJPW’s Arisu Endo.

Fightful’s Scott Edwards spoke with TJPW’s Arisu Endo for a short interview ahead of TJPW’s Grand Princess ’24 show on Sunday, March 31st. She will be teaming with Suzume to challenge Ryo Mizunami and Yuki Aino for the Princess Tag Team Titles.

Edwards: You’ve been a member of TJPW for over three years now and have a chance to become a champion for the first time at Grand Princess ’24. What are you feeling heading into the biggest match of your career with a chance to become one-half of the Princess Tag Team Champions?

Endo: “I won my first singles match last year, but I never gave up and kept rising, and that’s how I got here! I realized how important it is to never give up! So I will definitely get this chance!”

Edwards: How has teaming up with Suzume in Daisy Monkey helped you grow as a pro wrestler? What has Suzume meant to you as a tag team partner?

Endo: “I have been defeated and frustrated, but every time I lost, she backed off and inspired me! That’s why I’ve stood up again and again, and I think I’ve become stronger because of Suzume-san! I want her to be next to me all the time!”

Edwards: When you look back at where you were when you debuted at the start of 2021 and now, what has been the hardest part of being a pro wrestler? What have you loved the most about it?

Endo: “It made me realize how hard it is to win! That’s why I became much tougher and my first victory made me think that if I don’t give up, my dream will come true someday!”

Edwards: With the TJPW landscape going through constant changes what has your mindset been? Have you felt any pressure to step up? And if you have, do you enjoy having that pressure?

Endo: “There is so much pressure and tension! But the cheers of the fans are enough to knock it off, and makes me feel like “‘Okay, let’s go for it!'”

Edwards: Your overall style has made you a fan favorite. You have an in-ring style that is different from everyone in TJPW, utilizing a mixture of speed and power that few can match. Do you use any inspiration for your overall style? If so, what is that inspiration? Do you have an overall goal for your in-ring style?

Endo: “I wanted to be able to move quickly because of my small height! But looking at Yuka Sakazaki, I still want to have power so I am training to get bigger!”

We’d like to thank Endo and TJPW for taking the time to put this short interview together ahead of their major show.

You can check out TJPW’s annual Grand Princess show on WRESTLE UNIVERSE on March 31st.

While Endo will be challenging for the Princess Tag Team Titles, the main event will see Miyu Yamashita defend the Princess of Princess Championship against Miu Watanabe. Show will also feature IMPACT Wrestling’s Masha Slamovich in singles action, legend Aja Kong competing, Yuka Sakazaki returning, and so much more.
