Roman Reigns Hits 1300 Days As WWE Universal Champion
Roman has reigned for 1300 days as Universal Champion.
Roman Reigns achieves another milestone in his reign as Universal Champion.
Reigns captured the championship at WWE Payback 2020, defeating Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman in a triple threat match to take back the Universal Championship. To this day, Roman still holds the championship and as of March 22nd, Reigns has held it for 1300 days.
Over the course of his over 3 year long reign as champion, Reigns has knocked off some of the top talent WWE has to offer, successfully retaining his championship against the likes of Brock Lesnar, Finn Balor, Edge, Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre and more. Reigns added the WWE Championship to his reign at WrestleMania 38, unifying the two world championships into what is now known as the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship.
Reigns is currently scheduled to defend his championship on night 2 of WrestleMania 40 against Cody Rhodes, and will go face to face with The American Nightmare on tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
Xavier Woods recently stated that there is ‘no way’ Roman Reigns walks out of WrestleMania 40 as champion. You can read more about that here.
