Mercedes Mone Contract With AEW Confirmed To Be Multi-Year, Is 100% Healthy Following Foot Injury

Details regarding Mercedes Mone’s deal AEW.

Mercedes Mone officially joined AEW at AEW Dynamite Big Business on March 13th, debuting at the TD Garden.

In a feature by Marc Raimondi of ESPN, it is confirmed that Mercedes signed a multi-year deal with AEW.

Fightful Select reported on March 13th that she was believed to have signed a multi-year deal.

Mone has not wrestled since suffering a foot injury against Willow Nightingale at NJPW Resurgence in May 2023.

Mone confirmed she is 100% healthy following the injury, which she’s said was career-threatening.

“I love wrestling so much that I could not let the doctor tell me [I won’t wrestle again], I couldn’t let them say that was going to happen,” MonĂ© said. “I didn’t take no for an answer. And I pushed hard every single day. Rehabbing, working out, getting my mind right, meditating. Because again, I wasn’t sure when I was going to come back. I just knew that I was going to come back someday.”

Mone’s in-ring return has yet to be announced.
