Jackie Crockett has passed away.

PWInsider reports that Charles Jackson Crockett, also known as Jackie Crockett, passed away at the age of 76 on March 13 after he had been hospitalized for a month.

Crockett worked as the lead cameraman for Jim Crockett Promotions, and he stayed with WCW for many years, all the way through the last episode of WCW Monday Nitro. He sometimes interviewed talents as well. Jackie was very well-liked backstage.

Per PWInsider, Jackie’s brother David Crockett commented, “It has been a long journey for Jackie and he went out his way.  Tonight Jackie’s breathing was very labored and when we thought he was gone, he would come back like a wrestling false finish.”

David Penzer and Conrad Thompson also commented on the news.

PWInsider notes that Jackie Crockett will be buried in Bristol, Virginia next to his brother Jim Crockett Jr. and their parents. As of this writing, funeral arrangements are pending.

David Crockett, remains somewhat involved in the wrestling world, as he continues to make occasional appearances.
