Joe Carr Leaving The UFC
UFC Senior Vice President & Head Of Content & International Joe Carr is exiting the promotion he has been working at since 2012.
There has been no reason given at this time as to why Carr is leaving the organization, but he is just one of many high profile employees that have left the UFC since it was purchased by WME-IMG.
An exact date for Carr’s departure from the UFC hasn’t been revealed, but it is expected to happen sooner rather than later.
With Carr’s departure from the UFC, a replacement is going to be sought and named down the line by the UFC.
Carr is leaving the group under his own volition, much like former matchmaker and UFC Hall Of Fame member Joe Silva, plus public relations guru Dave Sholler.
It is unknown if Carr will take a job elsewhere like Sholler did with the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers or just settle into retirement like Silva did.
The soon to be leaving executive last public act for the company was revealing the two announce teams for Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders Series. Carr has yet to publicly comment on his exit from the organization.
