Toni Storm awards a second Toni award.
On the March 9th edition of AEW Collision, Toni Storm presented the first ever ‘Toni Award’, which she presented to her protoge, Mariah May. In a digital exclusive posted to AEW’s social media after Collision, Mariah reacted to winning the award.
“It’s so surreal. It doesn’t even feel real. I worked so hard on getting the Toni Storm character down. The way she sleeps, the way she eats, the way she bleaches. I just hope I made her proud and I couldn’t have done it all without my capable director.”she said.
Storm would then present a second award, this time to Deonna Purrazzo. With Purrazzo not being present to accept the award, Mariah would accept it on her behalf.
Toni Storm: Please, darling. I’m just a woman with a vision and I’m seeing double. Yes, and while we’re here, why don’t we give away another TonI Award, shall we? How about for best incompetent tramp from New Jersey, the woman who couldn’t keep her lips out of our business, we had to knock that gash in the trash. Yes. The winner is Donna Palazzo.
Mariah May: Miss Palazzo couldn’t be here tonight to accept her award, so I will accept it on her behalf. Donna, wherever you are, we’re thinking of you.
Toni Storm: Yes, that’s right. Now, come on, Mariah. We don’t want to be late for that key party now, do we? Chin, tits, shoe!

May competed on Saturday’s Collision, earning another victor, this time over Trish Adora. Toni Storm is just removed from defeating Deonna Purrazzo at AEW Revolution. However, while the referee’s back was turned, Toni would tap out to The Virtuosa, a point that Purrazzo has maintained since the pair’s AEW Women’s World Title match. You can read more about that here.
In a recent interview with Fightful, Purrazzo reflected on getting the chance to work with Storm so soon into her AEW run. You can read more about that here.
