Report: AEW Revolution Grossed Over $1 Million In Ticket Sales

Sting’s finale draws well.

According to Venues Now, AEW Revolution drew 16,118 fans, generating more than $1 million in gross ticket sales.

Greensville Coliseum’s Deputy Director Scott Johnson said the average ticket price was $55.

The report says OVG Hospitality’s food and drink per cap was $19, excluding suites, producing $306,242 in concessions receipts.

The average merchandise price was $21.64, and about $349,000 in gross sales were generated. Most retail merchandise sold out. Johnson said the arena’s numbers are on the high end for a family show and more in line with a concert.

AEW Revolution was headlined by Sting’s last match where he teamed with Darby Allin to successfully defend the AEW Tag Team Titles against The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson).

In the co-main event, Samoa Joe successfully defended the AEW World Title against Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland a three-way bout.
