Tony Schiavone comments on WWE acknowledging Sting. 

On Monday’s WWE Raw, Michael Cole and Pat McAfee commented on Sting’s last match, wishing him well in retirement and congratulating him on a legendary career. McAfee praised Sting’s match at AEW Revolution where he teamed with Darby Allin to defeat The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson). 

On What Happened When, Tony Schiavone commented on Cole and McAfee referencing Sting and his last match on Raw commentary. 

“Pretty cool thing, but the right thing to do,” he said. 

Conrad Thompson noted that the current WWE regime might have more respect for wrestling and history than the past regime. Schiavone agreed, saying, “Exactly.” 

Schiavone was on the call for Sting’s last match at AEW Revolution.
