JJ Gale: Heart And Soul Is Not Just A Tagline, It’s How I Conduct Myself In And Out Of The Ring
JJ Gale reflects on being the sole survivor of the Revolution Tag Team match.
JJ Gale talks his recent big win in the Revolution tag team match.
JJ Gale is one of the brightest prospects in Revolution Pro Wrestling, recently having a stand out match with Luke Jacobs at RevPro High Stakes. At a RevPro show on March 3rd, Gale took part in a Revolution Tag Team Elimination match that featured some of the biggest stars on the RevPro roster. JJ would end up being the sole survivor and winner of the match that also featured the likes of Ricky Knight Jr, Michael Oku and Gabe Kidd.
While speaking to Fightful’s Corey Brennan in a recent interview, Gale discussed his big win, noting that it was a huge one for him.
“Yeah, absolutely. It’s a huge win and I think if you’re looking at that match from a fan’s point of view or anyone you’re looking at, it’s the top talent in the UK, the top talent in Rev Pro for sure. You’ve got Michael Oku, British Heavyweight Champion, just had one of the best matches of all time. You know, Ricky Knight jr former heavyweight champion, Leyton Buzzard setting the world on fire. I could go on and on and on. There’s loads of guys in there. I think when I find myself in situations like that, I just want to prove that I belong in that, that bunch of people, that I’m in that conversation. I think it was a perfect, perfect time to do that. Like you say, it was me and Gabe Kidd, the last two standing. I think judging by what I could hear from the crowd, there were plenty of points where they thought that, okay, this is it. Gabe’s murdered JJ. This is a formality now, but hey look, the t-shirt says that heart and soul. I don’t give up. It’s not just a tagline. It’s really how I conduct myself in the ring and outside of the ring and my entire approach to wrestling. I want to put my heart and soul into it. I want to give everything i’ve got to get to where i want to go. I think I proved that in the ring on Saturday. Last man standing and it’s a pretty pretty big statement heading into the Revolution Rumble.”
Gale has been officially announced for the RevPro Revolution Rumble, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 31st from York Hall.
