At AEW Revolution on March 3rd, Roderick Strong is scheduled to take on the AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy for the title. On the final Collision before the pay-per-view, both men took part in a blockbuster eight man tag team match. As the match broke down, Strong would put Cassidy in the Strong Hold for a lengthy stretch of time.

In a digital exclusive posted to AEW’s social media platforms, Strong vowed to break the man that set the standard in Orange Cassidy.

“Orange Cassidy. Yes, yes, yes. That was your last night as International champion, and how did it feel? How did it feel when I had you in that Strong Hold and I wouldn’t let go? How? I’ve waited so long for this. This, This means so much to me. This means everything, tomorrow night, live on pay per view, I destroy you. Cassidy, Orange Cassidy, AEW International Champion, the man that set the standard that I’m about to break. My name is Roderick Strong, this is the Undisputed Kingdom, and I am your new AEW International Champion.”

This match will serve as Strong’s first championship opportunity in AEW, while Cassidy is currently in his second reign as International Champion.
