Daniel Garcia: If Karma Can’t Catch Christian, It’s Gonna Catch Up To Him In The Hands Of Daniel Garcia

Daniel Garcia sends a message to Christian Cage and The Patriarchy.

Daniel Garcia believes in karma.

Over the course of the last two years, Daniel Garcia’s time in AEW has been marred with heel acts alongside the likes of Chris Jericho and others. Now, he is a clear babyface alongside Daddy Magic, and is set to challenge for the AEW TNT Championship at tonight’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view event. On Saturday’s AEW Collision, Daddy Magic was taken out of the equation by Killswitch with a chokeslam onto a chair.

After AEW Collision, the promotion released a digital exclusive on social media, where Daniel Garcia would react to the news, noting that karma has played a part.

“This is not how this was supposed to go, alright? You hear me? This is not how this was supposed to go. Daddy Magic just got slammed onto a chair, and now he’s not gonna be by my side for the biggest match of my life. Selfishly, I wanted him by my side in this match, okay? But I knew that this match meant just as much to him as it does to me, and that’s why I wanted him there. But you know, a lot has been on my mind lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about karma and just all the horrendous, terrible things that I’ve done over the past couple years at AEW. Throwing fireballs in people’s faces, jumping people before their matches, taking away opportunities that they’ve been working their entire lives for. People like Action Andretti didn’t deserve that. People like Ricky Starks never deserved that, but I let somebody guide me, guide me through these terrible things to these people that I never wanted to do. Now Daddy Magic, one of the kindest souls, one of the nicest people I’ve met my entire life. Now he’s hurt because of karma, because karma that I did, because of karma that he was forced to do. Now Sunday, I gotta face somebody that karma has been hunting for a very long time, and that person is Christian Cage. Nobody on this roster, nobody in the business has done more horrid, treacherous, disgusting things that Christian Cage has done. Karma has been coming his way for a long time. If karma can’t catch up to him yet, karma is gonna catch up to him in the hands of Daniel Garcia.”

In a recent interview with Fightful, Garcia discussed his Contintnental Classic story. You can read more about that here.
