Ruckus Reflects On Indie Hall Of Fame Induction, ‘I Was Really Appreciative Of The Honor’

Ruckus talks being in the Indie Wrestling Hall Of Fame.

In 2022, Ruckus was inducted into the inaugural class of the Indie Wrestling Hall Of Fame alongside Jerry Lynn, Tracy Smothers, LuFisto, Homicide, and Dave Prazak. The induction was certainly earned, as Ruckus has maintained his status at the top of the world of independent wrestling, winning championships in CZW, MCW, ACW, and EWA.

While speaking to Fightful Overbooked’s Indied podcast for a new interview, Ruckus recalled his induction and said he was really appreciative of the honor.

“It was great bro. GCW, Brett Lauderdale, some of the best people in the world, you know what I mean? Brett, he’s always been my dude from day one, so when he called and told me that, I was shocked. I was really appreciative of the honor, you know what I mean? The way he set that whole thing up that night, it was great.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Ruckus recalled losing 220 pounds for a possible run in WWE. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
