SmackDown Viewership Posts Six-Week High For August 8 Episode

Last night's episode of SmackDown Live, with an advertised main event that featured a non-title Grudge Match between Randy Orton and WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, drew 2.584 million viewers, according to ShowBuzz Daily. This is up slightly from last week's 2.569 million viewers, and is the highest number for the blue brand since June 27.

SmackDown came in at #2 in viewership on cable for the night, behind Hannity on FOX, and took the #1 spot in the highly coveted 18-49 demographic.

In comparison, Monday's RAW drew 3.240 million viewers, or about 20% more than SmackDown.
