On February 24, 2024, All Elite Wrestling hosted a new episode of AEW Collision on TNT.

The show was headlined by Bryan Danielson facing the legendary Jun Akiyama. The full results & highlights are listed below.

AEW Collision (2/24/2024).

  • Tony Schiavone, Kevin Kelly & Nigel McGuiness welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening match.
  • No Disqualification Match: Powerhouse Hobbs def. Sammy Guevara.
  • Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli cut a promo backstage, saying that their 20-minute Time-Limit Draw against FTR before stating that it was not a satisfactory result. Moxley & Castagnoli accepted FTR’s challenge, telling them to bring their entire bag of tricks in their match at AEW Revolution in Greensboro Coliseum. 
  • FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) def. Shane Taylor Promotions (Lee Moriarty & Shane Taylor).
    • FTR cut a promo after the match, where they said that they were not afraid of BCC. Harwood said that Moxley had been the king of AEW before stating the following: “To be a king, you have to kill a king. At Revolution, we are coming for your head”.
  • There was a video package promoting the match between Jun Akiyama & Bryan Danielson for the main event of tonight’s episode.
  • Thunder Rosa def. Lady Bird Monroe.
  • Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale & Stokely Hathaway were interviewed by Renee Paquette. Statlander challenged Skye Blue to a match.
  • Bang Bang Scissor Gang (“Switchblade” Jay White, “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn & Colten Gunn) (w/ Max Caster, Anthony Bowens & Austin Gunn) vs. Iron Savages (Jacked Jameson, Bronson & Boulder).
  • Bryan Danielson was interviewed by Lexy Nair ahead of his match against the legendary Jun Akiyama later in the night. Danielson said that’s respected Akiyama, but that he did not respect Eddie Kingston at all, saying that he had never been a professional in the 20 years he had known him and that he had waisted his potential until the past year. Danielson concluded by saying that Kingston’s waisted potential pissed him off, which is why he would defeat him for the North American Triple Crown at AEW Revolution. 
  • Malakai Black def. Bryan Keith.
    • After the match, the lights went out before Mark Briscoe appeared in the ring. He attacked Buddy Matthews & Brody King with a kendo stick before trying to stab Malakai Black with a spike, but Black evaded. Black hit the Black Mass on Briscoe before King & Matthews caught him with Dante’s Inferno. 
  • Serena Deeb def. Lady Frost.
    • Serena Deeb cut a promo after the match, saying that anyone interested in joining AEW’s Women’s Division would need to step up to her. She promised to put WRESTLING back in All Elite Wrestling. 
  • Bryan Danielson def. Jun Akiyama.
    • Eddie Kingston was on commentary for the match. 
    • After Danielson shook hands with Akiyama, Danielson showed the middle finger to Kingston from the ring. Akiyama was disgusted by this and proceeded to slap Danielson in the head. Danielson responded by kicking Akiyama in the lower parts, which led to Kingston attacking Danielson in response. Claudio Castagnoli joined Danielson  in to attack Kingston, but FTR made the save to end the broadcast.
