Damage CTRL Defeat Indi Hartwell And Candice LeRae During Elimination Chamber Kickoff

The Kabuki Warriors have successfully retained their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at WWE Elimination Chamber.

The Kabuki Warriors remain on top of the WWE Women’s Tag Team division.

A late edition to the Elimination Chamber card, Asuka and Kairi Sane put their championships on the line during the kickoff vs Australia native Indi Hartwell and her tag team partner, Candice LeRae.

As expected, Hartwell and LeRae would receive a large reaction from the Australian crowd for their entrance.

A large portion of the match was built around a hot tag from Candice to Indi, with multiple close calls happening during the middle portion of the match. Upon the hot tag, Indi would use her power to take back control of the match for the challengers. As the match drew to its latter stages, Kairi Sane would trip Indi during a double team move, sending Candice crashing to the math. After hitting their assisted Insane Elbow on LeRae, the champions scored the deciding pinfall to retain their titles.

After the match, Indi and Candice would share a brief moment in the ring as the crowd chanted Hartwell’s name.

Damage CTRL continue to hold all the gold, with IYO Sky scheduled to defend the WWE Women’s Championship vs Bayley at WrestleMania 40 in April.
