Minoru Suzuki Says He’s Giving The Name ‘Strong Style’ Back To NJPW
Minoru Suzuki is on a journey of freedom.
Minoru Suzuki tweeted that he would be giving the name “Strong Syle” back to NJPW as he and El Desperado no longer need it.
Suzuki said he’s been with NJPW for a long time, but he’s still on the road and he needs to travel freely.
pic.twitter.com/ifSw01r1FD

Though Suzuki has spent the majority of his time in NJPW over the years, he hasn’t competed in a New Japan ring since December 2023. He’s wrestled for DDT, AJPW, and Japanese independent promotions throughout 2024.
It is unknown when Suzuki will return to NJPW.
El Desperado was in action at NJPW New Beginning in Sapporo, defending his IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title against SHO. Fans can find results from the event by clicking here.
