Masha Slamovich: The Ability To Work Indies Was A Big Deciding Factor Of Me Signing With TNA
Masha Slamovich discusses how important it was for her to be able to continue competing on the independent circuit while wrestling for TNA.
Masha Slamovich has been one of the top Knockouts in TNA Wrestling for several years. However, while competing under the TNA Wrestling banner, she has also continued to compete for GCW, Wrestling REVOLVER, and more of the top independent promotions.
Speaking with Jeremy Lambert and Joel Pearl on Fightful Overbooked’s In The Weeds, Masha detailed how important it was for her to be able to continue on the independent scene as she felt she had more to accomplish.
“It’s very important to me. It was a big deciding factor of me signing with TNA because I knew that I wasn’t done and I had so much left to do on the indies, as well as working at TNA. I really wanted to have the best of both worlds. I think I’ve been able to do quite well the last two years of really putting in the work on the independent scene, just as much as I’ve putting in TNA,” she said.
Slamovich recently won the Jersey J-Cup Tournament, becoming the New Jersey Championship Wrestling champion in the process. Learn more about that here.
