Jake Something Says TNA Wrestling Legend Monty Brown Is Still In Great Shape

Jake Something says TNA Wrestling legend Monty Brown is still jacked.

Monty Brown with one of the original breakout stars of TNA Wrestling. Brown was fortunate enough to step in the ring with such names as Jeff Jarrett, Sting, Raven, Abyss, Samoa Joe, and more.

Brown left TNA in 2006 to begin a run as Marcus Cor Von in WWE ECW. He had the opportunity to compete at WrestleMania 23. However, he would have his last match under the WWE Banner in June 2007 and has not made any major wrestling appearances since then.

During an interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, TNA’s Jake Something would provide something of an update on Brown. Something noted that Brown is still in great shape and was a regular around local Michigan shows when Jake was just getting started.

“Oh, he’s huge. So he would be a personal trainer at this gym in Saginaw that I would go to. The gym has since changed, but there’s a giant picture of his giant body right in there ‘cause he’s a popular guy there. I think, if I remember correctly, I was on a show in Saginaw years ago when I first started. Rohit was on the show, too. I’m pretty sure Monty came in there and did a Pounce on somebody or he did something like that. But he was always around at those Saginaw shows. He’d stop in, say ‘Hi,’ and that sort of stuff,” said Something.

Elsewhere in the interview, Something reflected on making his own decision to return to TNA Wrestling. Learn more here.
