Ricky Steamboat is a rare breed in wrestling as he spent his entire career as a babyface. Steamboat began his career in 1976 and perfected the art of fighting from underneath and getting the crowd invested his comebacks.

Joey and Tama Tonga competed against each other twice in their careers, first in 2015 and then again in 2019.
Steamboat proved his baby face prowess during a guest appearance in AEW in August 2023 as he served as the special guest referee for CM Punk vs. Ricky Starks. After the bout, Starks whipped Steamboat with a belt.
