Matt Hardy Confirms Jeff Hardy Suffered Broken Nose Against Sammy Guevara, Undergoing More Testing
Matt Hardy gives an update on Jeff Hardy.
Jeff Hardy competed against Sammy Guevara after the February 14 episode of AEW Dynamite in a match taped for the February 16 episode of AEW Rampage.
In the bout, Guevara’s knee landed on Hardy’s face after a shooting star press. The match continued with Jeff finishing up the bout.
Speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Matt gave an update on Jeff.
“It looks like the Sammy Guevara-Hardy curse is real. It lives on. We thought it ended in 2020, but it picked back up in 2024. They were having a hell of a match, it’s going to air on Rampage. They have a great match, and there is a point where Sammy does a move, and his knee catches Jeff in the face. It definitely rocked Jeff, and Jeff for sure has a broken nose, that’s really all we know. They’re still going to undergo some more testing and what not to try and find out what his total injury is or would be. We know, right now, it’s at a minimum a broken nose,” said Matt.
this is NOT the first time Sammy Guevara has injured Jeff Hardy with his amateur hour bullshit

Matt said Jeff was in good spirits after the match and that it was the first broken nose he’s suffered in his career.
Matt and Sammy feuded in 2020 where Matt was infamously knocked out after following a fall off a lift and through a table during their match at AEW All Out 2020.
