On February 8, WWE held the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff, which featured appearances from The Rock, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair. The event streamed live on YouTube, and it’s clear that the world was watching.
On February 9, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H took to Twitter/X to thank everyone for watching the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff. In the post, he included a graphic that showed some statistics. According to the graphic, the Kickoff racked up 100,000,000 social views in the first 12 hours, which marks a WWE record. It also accumulated over 4,700,000 million live viewers across all social platforms. The graphic noted that the Kickoff was the most-viewed non-in-ring event livestream of all time.
