SoftGround Wrestling In Uganda Hits GoFundMe Goal Of $10,000
SoftGround Wrestling In Uganda hits its goal.
SoftGround Wrestling in Uganda went viral when they held their version of the Royal Rumble and posted it to social media. A GoFundMe was launched to help the promotion with a goal of $10,000.
On February 9, SGW hit their goal. 269 people donated to the cause. Will Ospreay, who took notice of the viral Rumble clip, donated $2,000.
Hello all,
I am beyond happy and grateful to announce that the fundraiser has reached its intended goal of $10,000 after a generous $1,800 donation.
Tonight I will begin the process of transferring the money to Bumbash. He should have it within the next week.
Thank you all for everything, every last bit of help with this fundraiser. You guys have changed lives forever because of this.
As I get the money to Bumbash, I will provide updates on how the money is being spent. Once again, thank you for every donation, share, and repost. Every single one of us did this. A community of wrestling fans across the world came together over the past three days to help a struggling community event in Uganda get the funding that it desperately needed.
I will tell Bumbash the news when he wakes up, but until then, I’m signing off.
