Jacob Fatu Confirms MLW SuperFight Was Last MLW Date

Jacob Fatu comments on his free agency status.

On February 1, Rikishi posted on social media that Jacob Fatu is a free agent and asked if WWE or AEW would be the company to sign him.

It was later reported by Bodyslam that Fatu was indeed a free agent.

Appearing on Signed By Superstars ahead of MLW SuperFight on February 3, Fatu confirmed that MLW SuperFight was his last date with MLW.

“[MLW SuperFight] is the final match. [Saturday] is the final match against Nagata [Yuji Nagata]. Philadelphia has been home to me for the past six years,” he said.

Fatu was victorious against Nagata at MLW SuperFight.

After the match, he was attacked by a returning Mads Krugger, who clubbed him in the back of the head. MLW announced Fatu vs. Krugger in Baklei Brawl at MLW Burning Crush on February 17. The match was taped after MLW SuperFight.

Fightful will provide more details on Fatu’s free agency when they are known.
