Netflix CCO Bela Bajaria Addresses Concerns Of WWE Raw Deal Following Vince McMahon Allegations, ‘He’s Gone’
Netflix comments on Vince McMahon allegations.
On January 23, WWE and Netflix announced that WWE Raw would be moving to Netlfix beginning in January 2025. Two days later, Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE with allegations of sex trafficking, emotional abuse, and sexual assault.
After Slim Jim paused its sponsorship deal with WWE, Vince McMahon resigned from his position as TKO Executive Chairman on January 26.
At a Next on Netflix event (via Hollywood Reporter), Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria was asked if there were any concerns with the deal in light of the lawsuit and allegations.
“He’s gone. So he’s not there. He’s gone,” she said.
McMahon has denied the allegations multiple times.
