Adam Copeland On Recreating A TLC Match: We’re In Our 50s, Leave It In A Good Place In Memory
Adam Copeland wants to leave the memories alone.
Adam Copeland (Edge in WWE), Christian Cage (Christian in WWE), Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley), and D-Von (D-Von Dudley) will forever be tied together thanks to their Tables, Ladders, and Chairs classics.
All six men are now outside of WWE and could theoretically work together again in one final TLC match. Copeland would rather leave the memories alone.
“People say (they want to see it), but no, actually stop and think about it for a second. We were in our early 20s when we did those matches. We’re in our 50s now. Leave it in a very good place in memory, and let us do what we do now, which is tell better stories,” Copeland told Alex Nino Ghecciu of the Lethbridge Herald.
Copeland, Christian, and the Hardy Boys are all signed to AEW. Copeland has been active on television, issuing open challenges, which has been answered by the likes of Minoru Suzuki and Lee Moriarty.
Jeff Hardy will be in action on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite when he faces Jon Moxley.
