Here is your fight size update following AEW Dynamite on January 24, 2024.

– Deonna Purrazzo met with AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm and told her she wanted to face the Toni Storm she used to know. Tensions rose, and Purrazzo stood tall after a brief brawl.

– AEW World Champion Samoa Joe kicked off the show. HOOK interrupted and vowed that he would see Joe again. HOOK took the fight to some security guards.

– Swerve Strickland kept rolling with a win over Jeff Hardy.

– Thanks to some help from Jay White and The Gunns, The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn defended the AEW World Trios Championship against Mogul Embassy (Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona).

– Hangman Page faced Penta El Zero Miedo and scored the hard-fought win.

– Darby Allin and the fans convinced Sting to focus on the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

– AEW World Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks and Big Bill agreed to face Sting and Darby Allin. The title match was announced for February 7.

– Orange Cassidy said he wanted to keep competing, so he would defend his title on AEW Collision. 

– Adam Copeland battled Minoru Suzuki. He picked up the win and told Christian Cage that he was still coming for him after the match.

– Wardlow faced Trent Beretta. Beretta put up a valiant fight, but Wardlow emerged victorious. 

– The Young Bucks (Nicholas and Matthew Jackson) continued to take their jobs as EVPs seriously as they threatened to fine Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin).

– Jon Moxley delivered a passionate message and said he would maim anyone who failed to keep up.

– Bryan Danielson will face Yuji Nagata on the January 27 episode of AEW Collision. Check out the card here.

– Taya Valkyrie and Johnny TV returned to Dynamite, and Valkyrie challenged Deonna Purrazzo to a match. The bout was confirmed for the January 31 episode of AEW Dynamite. Check out the card here.

– Swerve Strickland got into a confrontation with Hangman Page backstage.

– Thunder Rosa had her first singles match on Dynamite since 2022, as she faced Red Velvet. The former AEW Women’s World Champion scored the win.

– A video package highlighted Serena Deeb’s upcoming return.

– Anthony Bowens commented on the Bang Bang Scissor Gang’s success.
