Daniel Garcia: My Contract Is Up In 2024, My Goal Is To Earn Another Contract And Win Gold

Daniel Garcia is looking to earn another contract.

Daniel Garcia had stand out performances in the AEW Continental Classic, culminating with his final match in the tournament, which was a victory over Brody King. Garcia has been regularly featured on television since the tournament, taking on Swerve Strickland in singles competition and teaming with FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler).

Speaking to Adrian Hernandez, Garcia was asked for his goals in 2024.

“My contract is up this year. My number one focus is earning another contract and showing that I am someone that can be built around and somebody that can be fully invested in as a top guy. That’s my number one priority. My priority outside of that is, what better way to show you can be a top guy than winning a title. I would love to win some singles gold in AEW,” he said.

Garcia is a former ROH Pure Champion, but he has not held an AEW championship.

Garcia will face Buddy Matthews on the January 20 episode of AEW Collision.
