KUSHIDA Would Like To See El Desperado In TNA, Hasn’t Had Many Offers To Return To NJPW
KUSHIDA comments on potential return to NJPW.
KUSHIDA has signed with TNA Wrestling, but he will continue to be involved in NJPW. KUSHIDA returned to NJPW in 2022 after leaving WWE. He has often teamed with Kevin Knight as the Intergalactic Jetsetters.
Speaking to Jeremy Lambert & Joel Pearl on In The Weeds, KUSHIDA was asked if there was a return to NJPW on the horizon.
“I always miss Japan. I would like to compete in Japan, but I haven’t had many offers. I think I can do a lot of things with Kevin Knight in both the junior and heavyweight tag divisions,” he said.
KUSHIDA & Knight teamed in the 2022 and 2023 Best of Super Junior Tag League. They are former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions.
On the subject of NJPW, KUSHIDA was asked who from NJPW he would like to see in TNA Wrestling.
“I would pick El Desperado. He is great,” he said.
NJPW will have a presence at TNA Snake Eyes when Kazuchika Okada returns to the company.
KUSHIDA will face Sabin for the X-Division Championship in a three-way match that also features El Hijo Del Vikingo at TNA Hard To Kill.
