Luca Crusifino Says He’s Legally Contesting The Result Of Breakout Tournament Bout With Tavion Heights
Luca Crusifino is TAKING IT TO TRIAL!
On the December 19, 2023 episode of WWE NXT, Tavion Heights scored a win over Luca Crusifino in the first round of the NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament.
On January 11, 2024, Crusifino took to social media to announce that he is legally contesting the outcome of the bout, citing that his foot was under the ropes during the pinfall. Crusifino pointed out that back in 2007, The Great Khali was awarded with another bout with John Cena after officials discovered that his foot was under the ropes during their match at the Judgment Day premium live event.

Over the past number of days, Crusifino has shared photos on social media that show that his foot was under the ropes during Heights’ pinfall.
My foot is CLEARLY underneath the ropes (See Exhibit A). This should have been a rope break per the WWE Bylaws.@WWENXT

Tavion Heights and the NXT brand have yet to respond to to Crusifino’s statement on this situation. Fightful will update fans when more is known about this very pressing, very serious legal matter.
