Matt Hardy Says He And Jeff Hardy Actually Respect The Young Bucks (And Their Sweet Ass Mustaches)

Matt Hardy gives his thoughts on The Young Bucks’ returning at AEW Dynamite: Homecoming.

Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson, The Bucks of Youth, as they would be referred to by “BROKEN” Matt Hardy, returned to AEW at AEW Dynamite: Homecoming, interrupting Sting and appearing to make it clear that they wanted to be the ones to face Sting and Darby Allin in Sing’s final match at AEW Revolution. 

Matt Hardy would later take to Twitter to compliment the Jacksons. 

Sharing a picture of him and his brother Jeff Hardy with the newly mustachioed Young Bucks, Hardy said he was happy to see the return and proud of them for calling out Sting. Matt would go so far as to say that the Young Bucks are one of the few tag teams that he and Jeff Hardy “actually” respect. However, he also offered the tongue-in-cheek remark that Matt and Nick Jackson would not exist without him and Jeff Hardy paving the way. 

The Hardys and Young Bucks have shared the ring several times. Matt and Jeff even defeated the Young Bucks at AEW Double or Nothing 2022.

Recently, The Hardys have been utilizing their longevity and their legacy in order to shift their characters on AEW TV, becoming more and more demanding of respect from their peers and the audience. 

Jeff Hardy recently noted that they were stuck “in the dimension known as AEW Rampage.” Read more here
