Takagi has previously expressed his interest in facing AEW star Bryan Danielson, and he recently doubled down on these comments,

“If you want, why don’t we fight in Japan this year, the year of the dragon?” Takaki said.
The interview notes that Takagi made it clear that he wanted to have a “dragon showdown” with Danielson, who is widely known as “The American Dragon” in the ring.
