Here is your post-Monday Night Raw fight size update for January 1, 2024.

– Rhea Ripley successfully defended the WWE Women’s World Championship against Ivy Nile. 

– Cody Rhodes welcomed the fans to WWE RAW. He said he was “stuck” on Shinsuke Nakamura. Rhodes stated that he would give Shinsuke Nakamura the opportunity to end it. Nakamura responded and said he wanted to give Rhodes one more week, but he would finish his story.

– Becky Lynch faced Nia Jax. Jax scored the decisive win.

– Jey Uso and Kofi Kingston faced Imperium (Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser). Vinci seemingly suffered an injury, and the referee stopped the bout. Kingston and Uso were declared the victors. Vinci later said he was fine.

– The Miz hosted Miz TV, and The Judgment Day were set to be his guests. R-Truth came out. The Miz questioned Truth’s role in The Judgment Day, and he explained that he wanted to make them likable. JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio interrupted. They agreed to face off in a tag team match.

– The Awesome Truth reunited, as The Miz and R-Truth faced Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh. The Miz and R-Truth picked up the win. 

– The former WWE Champion who returned to RAW wound up being Jinder Mahal. He insulted the United States, and The Rock interrupted. He made fun of Mahal and hit him with a Spinebuster. The Rock then teased a potential match with Roman Reigns.

– Triple H will make a major announcement on the WWE Preview Special.

 

– Seth Rollins defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre. Damian Priest attacked Rollins and tried to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase. McIntyre stopped him. Rollins emerged victorious as he pinned McIntyre after he hit a Stomp.

– The broadcast team noted that Sami Zayn had to get 15 staples after his match at a live event.

– WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter got into a confrontation with Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. The champions also celebrated their win.

– Tegan Nox and Natalya faced Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. Stark and Baszler scored the win.

– WWE confirmed that CM Punk would return on the January 8 episode of RAW.

– Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias was in attendance.

– The Rock and Becky Lynch reunited backstage.

– WWE highlighted their 2023 Holiday Tour.

– Grayson Waller took a shot at The Rock.

– R-Truth helped set up a match between Finn Balor and Tommaso Ciampa.

– Nia Jax commented on her win on Raw Talk.
