TNA Wrestling announced that Gisele Shaw will compete in the Knockouts Ultimate X match at TNA Hard To Kill on January 13. Shaw was the first competitor announced for the bout.

The winner of the match will earn a shot at the Knockouts World Championship, which is currently held by Trinity. Trinity will defend the title against Jordynne Grace at TNA Hard To Kill.

The first Knockouts Ultimate X match was held at Hard To Kill 2022. There, Tasha Steelz beat Chelsea Green, Jordynne Grace, Lady Frost, Rosemary, and Alisha Edwards. Steelz went on to win the Knockouts Championship.
