MJF comments on his future in acting.
AEW World Champion MJF has previously made it clear that he wants to pursue greatness in Hollywood. He took a notable step when he landed a role as Lance Von Erich in “The Iron Claw”, and he was also credited as an executive producer of the film.
Speaking with Liam Crowley for Comicbook.com, MJF stated that he believes he will have a regular presence outside of wrestling in five years. He made it clear that he loves wrestling, and he will most likely still be full-time. However, he also wants to be acting full-time by then, as he aims to become a great actor who transitioned from wrestling, like The Rock, John Cena, and Batista.
“I genuinely think in five years from now, I’m going to be a guy that people see regularly on their TV screen outside of the professional wrestling landscape. Trust me, I love wrestling too much to not still be involved in it. I will most likely still be full-time, but I want to be acting full-time as well by then. I would also like to put out an album by then. I would like to be a well distinguished actor that is recognized as being a great actor that transitioned from wrestling like these greats that did it before me. Like Dwayne, like Batista. Like Cena,” MJF said.
MJF recently voiced Killer Croc in the upcoming Justice League X RWBY Super Heroes and Huntsmen Part Two movie. More information is available here.
In 2022, MJF stated that he saw himself doing what The Rock did. Check out his comments here.
At AEW Worlds End, MJF is set to defend the AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe. Fightful will have live coverage of the show as it airs.
