Swerve Strickland: I’m Focused On Gold, Keith Lee Is Focused On Me
Swerve Strickland doesn’t sound worried about Keith Lee.
After dispatching of Shane Taylor at ROH Final Battle, Keith Lee has set his sights on his old tag team partner, Swerve Strickland, confronting the Mogul Embassay on Saturday’s AEW Collision.
Swerve is currently competing in the AEW Continental Classic, and he is more concerned with gold.
“From what I’m seeing, how he’s talking, who he’s talking to on Collision, I don’t feel like he’s done with me. Interesting timing that he’s choosing to rekindle this whole thing. That’s what I see. I’m focused on gold. He’s focused on me,” Swerve told News Jax 4.
Asked if he’s surpassed Lee, Swerve stated, “I believe so.”
Swerve and Lee are former AEW Tag Team Champions together.
Swerve is set to compete in the finals of the AEW Continental Classic Gold League when he takes on Jon Moxley and Jay White.
