Emily Jaye: Presentation Has Been Very Important To The Early Part Of My Career
Emily Jaye says that presentation is just as important as in-ring action.
Despite only being on the independent scene for just a few years, Emily Jaye is considered to be one of the most well rounded performers that isn’t signed to a major company. Many fans consider Jaye’s wrestling and promo skills to be up to par with other major independent names.
Jaye’s presentation is often praised by fans as well, and as it turns out, that is a big priority for the young star.
While speaking to Fightful for a new interview, Jaye said that presentation is almost as important as the actual wrestling part of the sport.
“Most definitely and that’s something very important, is to always continue to evolve the way you look. I was always taught you want to be presented the way you want people to see you. So I think looking very presentable and having nice gear and having a nice look to you is almost if not as important as the actual wrestling. Because you can be amazing wrestler, but you can have very cheaply made gear or something that doesn’t look like gear and you’re immediately at the bottom of the list for me.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Emily Jaye confirmed that she keeps in contact with her trainers, Shawn Spears and Tyler Breeze. Fans can learn more by clicking here. She debuted on ROH recently, taking on Leyla Hirsch and Rachael Ellering.
