Injuries Cause Changes To PFL: Everett Event

Next weekends Professional Fighters League event has undergone a few changes due to a series of injuries.

Shamil Gamzatov has been forced to pull out of his fight due to an undisclosed injury. The fighter was supposed to battle Rex Harris in the main card opening fight. Bruno Santos has been pulled from his preliminary card fight against Louis Taylor and he now faces Harris on the main card.

Taylor will now be facing late replacement opponent Tyler Vogel, who steps in on just about a week’s notice to face the middleweight contender.

Also, a Magomed Magomedkerimov has been removed from his bout against Chris Cisneros due to an undisclosed illness. PFL officials were unable to secure a replacement opponent to fight Cisneros on a week’s notice, so Cisneros has now been pulled from the card as well.

Despite the injuries and fight removal, the PFL: Everett card will still go on, just with eleven total fights now instead of twelve.

Professional Fighters League: Everett takes place on Saturday, July 29 from the Xfinity Arena in Everett, Washington with Andre Harrison and Steven Rodriguez headlining. Fightful is going to provide quick results coverage of the event, which airs live on the NBC Sports Network.
