Bruce Prichard Names The 1990 Million Dollar Team As His Favorite Survivor Series Team Of All Time

Bruce Prichard names his favorite Survivor Series team of all time. Perhaps to no surprise, it’s the only team he was ever ringside for as a manager.

The 1990 WWE Survivor Series is notable for two debuts that live on the opposite end of the historic spectrum in WWE history. 1990’s Thanksgiving day pay-per-view saw the debut of the Gobbledy Gooker to the opposite of fanfare. More importantly, however, that same event saw the debut of The Undertaker.

Undertaker was revealed as the mystery partner of Ted DiBiase, Honky Tonk Man, and Greg Valentine, and in his debut, he was managed by Brother Love better known as Bruce Prichard.

On the latest episode of his Something to Wrestle podcast, Prichard revealed that that particular Survivor Series team is in fact his favorite of all time.

“Did you really ask that question? The Million Dollar Team, man. The debut of The Undertaker. The greatest team ever assembled in the Survivor Series.”

Conrad Thompson thought he would stump Bruce on who was actually on the team but Bruce was able to name all of Undertaker’s teammates and even the team that they beat, Koko B. Ware, Jim Neidhart, and Bret Hart. Bruce even saved a special impression for Dusty Rhodes, the captain of the opposing team.

“‘The American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes and we whipped his ass up one side and down the other… You didn’t think I knew all that, did you?”

Dusty Rhodes’ son Cody Rhodes will be captaining a team at this year’s Survivor Series in one of his dad’s creations, WarGames. Fans can check out the full card for the event here

Elsewhere on this podcast, Prichard gave his thoughts on Shane McMahon potentially returning to the ring after suffering a torn quad at WrestleMania 39. Read more here.
