Bobby Lashley Tries To Discuss The Lack Of Present Champions On SmackDown, Pisses Off Butch Instead

Bobby Lashley and Butch have an altercation.

On the November 24 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Butch was abandoned by his partner Ridge Holland in the middle of a tag team match against Pretty Deadly’s Kit Wilson & Elton Prince.

On the subsequent episode of the WWE SmackDown LowDown, Butch was explaining to Kayla Braxton that he doesn’t know what’s going on in Ridge Holland’s head and that he hasn’t heard from Sheamus in months when he was interrupted by Bobby Lashley.

Lashley was more concerned with the fact that between Logan Paul and Roman Reigns having a limited schedule and the Judgment Day primarily being Monday Night Raw Superstars, there are no male titleholders that are present regularly on WWE Friday Night SmackDown.

“Excuse me, Kayla. Why are we talking to this guy? What needs to be discussed is the fact that we have no titles on this show, okay? We have one opportunity to bring some titles on the show with The Street Profits and then they get cheated by the Judgment Day. That’s the only thing that needs to be discussed at this time,” Lashley said, completely dismissing Butch.

Butch did not take kindly to this, telling the former WWE Champion that regardless of whether or not Ridge Holland is by his side, he means business.

“Listen, mate. You ain’t gonna walk in here and just mug me off like that. Brutes or no brutes, when I’m here, it’s fight night,” Butch said in defense of himself.

This meant almost nothing to Lashley, who dismissed him again.

“Make a name for yourself, kid, before you talk to me,” Lashley concluded before walking away.

Butch has yet to win any gold on the main roster but back in NXT as Pete Dunne, he was a multi-time champion, having held the NXT UK Championship and the NXT Tag Team Championship.
