Report: WWE Payback Drew $1.1 Million Gate, NXT No Mercy Sold 4,308 Tickets For $262,262 Gate
Reported numbers for WWE Payback and NXT No Mercy.
According to Pollstar data (via Wrestlenomics), WWE Payback sold 11,680 ticket sales for a gate of $1,161,555. The event took place on September 2 from PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA.
The event was headlined by Seth Rollins against Shinsuke Nakamura. LA Knight vs. The Miz with John Cena as the special guest referee and Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus in a cage match also went down at WWE Payback.
The data also shows that NXT No Mercy sold 4,308 tickets for a $262,262 gate. NXT No Mercy took place on September 30 at at Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield, CA.
Becky Lynch vs. Tiffany Stratton in an Extreme Rules bout and Carmelo Hayes vs. Ilja Dragunov headlined the event.
WWE’s next PLE is this Saturday, November 25 when WWE Survivor Series emanates from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL.
