Sting, Darby Allin, And Adam Copeland Victorious At AEW Full Gear, Ric Flair Gets Hit In The Dick
Dream team gets it done.
Sting, Darby Allin, & Adam Copeland kicked off AEW Full Gear with a victory over Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, & Luchasaurus.
The finish saw Christian accidentally hit Luchasaurus with the AEW TNT Championship, and then exit the ringside area, leaving Luchasaurus to fend for himself. Things didn’t go well for Luchasaurus as he was hit with a Stinger Splash by Sting, a Spear by Copeland, and a Coffin Drop by Allin.
Just before the finish, Ric Flair confronted Christian and lit him up with punches and chops before Christian thumbed him in the eyes and then hit a low blow.

After the match, Darby asked the crowd to make some noise for Sting, who was celebrating with his son. This match was part of Sting’s retirement run, which will conclude with his last match at AEW Revolution 2024.
The crowd gave Sting a standing ovation and chanted “Thank you Sting.”
