Play-by-Play
(#1) Jiri Prochazka vs. (#3) Alex Pereira
Round One – Pereira just misses a high kick to start. Prochazka lands a low kick, Pereira does the same, and Prochazka drops to the mat but pops right back up. Pereira lands a low kick, then another, and Prochazka’s lead leg is already getting chewed up. Prochazka grabs a leg and shoves Pereira to the fence but Pereira has a choke locked in. Prochazka scoops and slams Pereira and gets this one down to the mat with about two minutes to work. Prochazka stays grounded but separates and looks for some ground and pound but Pereira fights the hands nicely for the time being. Prochazka starts hammering some shots from the top, including a pair of elbows, and looks to step over into side control. Pereira defends well and scoots his back up the fence and gets back to his feet. Prochazka whiffs on an uppercut at the horn and this one is headed to round number two.

Round Two – Prochazka opens the round with a jumping switch kick to the body. Pereira lands a low kick, then another, then pops the jab. Prochazka lands a 1-2, then another, and Pereira clinches. Prochazka slips out and back to the center of the octagon. Prochazka lands a 1-2, Pereira backs up to the fence, Prochazka rushes in but eats a right uppercut and Prochazka is hurt! Prochazka drops to a knee, Pereira starts hammering elbows to the side of the head, and this one is waved off! Alex Pereira is now a two weigh UFC World Champion!

(#2) Sergei Pavlovich vs. (#4) Tom Aspinall
Round One – Aspinall lands a low kick to start. Pavlovich lands a right hook and Aspinall comes back with a side kick to the body. Aspinall cracks Pavlovich with a right hook, Pavlovich is wobbled, Aspinall lands another right hand, Pavlovich is down, Aspinall rushes over, and lands a few shots, and this one is waved off! Tom Aspinall is the interim UFC Heavyweight Champion!

(#5) Jessica Andrade vs. (#7) MacKenzie Dern
Round One – Dern opens the action with a front kick to the body. Dern lands a low kick, then another, then a third. Dern pops the jab, Andrade clinches, Dern lands a hip toss but Andrade scrambles right back to her feet. Andrade catches a kick and spins Dern around but Dern evades a looping right hand from the former champion. Dern peppers with the jab, then goes back to the well of lead leg kicks. Dern lands a 1-2, Andrade comes back with a low kick, Dern lands a knee to the body and a right hook back up top. Dern lands a 1-2, then a right hook but slips and Andrade clinches. Dern slips out and lands a 1-2, Andrade plants a kick onto Dern’s lead leg, and Dern pops the jab. Dern changes levels, Andrade stays upright and backs herself up to the fence and spins out of the clinch and gets back to the center of the octagon. Andrade clinches and drills Dern with a right hook and Dern is down but the horn sounds that may have very well kept Dern out of danger.

Round Two – Andrade lands a low kick to start. Dern pops the jab, then a 1-2, and Andrade lands another lead leg kick. Dern changes levels but gets cracked by a right hook from Andrade. Dern lands a 1-2, then right hook, and Andrade comes back with yet another low kick. Dern clinched but gets crushed with a left hook and Dern is down! Andrade stays standing and tells Dern to get back up and the referee instructs her to do so. Dern blasts Andrade with a right hook but Andrade drills Dern with a right hook and Dern is down again! Dern stands back up but gets cracked with another right hook, and this time the referee waves this one off! Statement performance from Jessica Andrade!

(#14) Matt Frevola vs. Benoit Saint Denis
Round One – Saint Denis opens with a head kick but Frevola blocks it. Saint Denis lands a low kick, Frevola catches another kick attempt and trips Saint Denis down to the mat. Saint Denis scrambled and ends up with top control but Frevola does the same and gets back to top position. Saint Denis scrambles back to his feet and wallops Frevola with a head kick and Frevola is out! What a finish by Benoit Saint Denis!

Diego Lopes vs. Pat Sabatini
Round One – Sabatini looks for the level change, Lopes shoved him back, Sabatini dives back in but gets cracked with an uppercut, then a right hook, and Sabatini is down! Lopes rushes over and fires off punch after punch, Sabatini is out, and this one is waved off! What a performance by Diego Lopes!
