Jushin “Thunder” Liger, Satoshi Kojima & Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. David Finlay, Michael Elgin & Juice Robinson
The match begins with Robinson locking Kojima in a headlock before taking him down with a shoulder tackle, Kojima recovers to drop him with a shoulder tackle of his own. Liger tags in and Robinson decides to tag Finlay into the match, Liger drops Finlay with a shoulder tackle before locking him in the Romero Special. Elgin hits the ring to break the submission hold up, Robinson tags back in and he cracks Liger with a back suplex for a near fall. Elgin tags in and he nails Liger with a delayed verticle suplex, Finlay tags in and he attacks Liger with some forearm strikes. Finlay and Liger both go down as they land clotheslines on each other, Elgin and Tenzan get the tags from their partners.
Tenzan quickly attacks Elgin with some Mongolian chops, Tenzan then catches Elgin with a running clothesline and a suplex. Elgin recovers to drop Tenzan with an enzaguri, Robinson tags in and he nails Tenzan with his patented punches followed by a drop kick. Tenzan recovers to nail Robinson with a headbutt, Tenzan then hits Robinson with an overhead release suplex. Kojima tags in and he nails Robinson with machine gun chops in the corner, Robinson recovers to hit Kojima with a running clothesline and a cannonball in the corner. Kojima then drops Robinson with a DDT from out of nowhere, Robinson recovers and drops Kojima with a leg lariat.
Finlay tags into the match and he attacks Kojima with a middle rope European uppercut, Kojima recovers to hit Finlay with a Koji Cutter. Everybody hits the ring and a massive brawl breaks out, Finlay hits Kojima with a uranage back breaker for a near fall. Kojima nails Finlay with the lariat for the three count.

Suzuki-Gun (El Desparado, Taichi & Minoru Suzuki) vs. Bullet Club (Kenny Omega, Chase Owens & Tama Tonga)
The match begins with Suzuki-Gun jumping Bullet Club before the bell sounds, Suzuki takes Omega and he brawls with him in the crowd. Omega tosses Suzuki into the wall by the stands, Desparado attacks Owens with a water bottle on the arena floor. Suzuki takes Omega and he throws him into a bunch of chairs in the crowd, Taichi and Tonga battle inside the ring. Desparado jumps Tonga from behind and he double teams him with Taichi, Taichi grabs the ring bell hammer and he hits Tonga with it. Owens hits the ring and he nails Taichi with a drop kick, Desparado grabs Owens and he knocks him out of the ring. Taichi nails Tonga with a kick to the back for a near fall, Tonga then nails a splitting Desparado in the testicles.
Omega tags in and Suzuki gets the tag as well, Omega takes down a charging Suzuki with a hurricarana. Omega catches Suzuki with a Finlay Roll, Suzuki recovers and he nails Omega with a running boot to the face followed by a penalty kick. Omega and Suzuki have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Omega drops Suzuki before nailing him with the V Trigger. Omega looks for the One Winged Angel and Suzuki counters with a rear naked choke, Suzuki goes for the Gotch style pile driver and Omega escapes to tag Owens in. Bullet Club triple team Suzuki in the ring, Owens gets a near fall on Suzuki before another brawl breaks out all over the place.
Owens goes for a package pile driver and Suzuki escapes, Suzuki catches a swinging Owens in the sleeper hold and then a Gotch style pile driver for a three count.
Winners: Suzuki-Gun (El Desparado, Taichi & Minoru Suzuki)
Los Ingobernables (Bushi & Sanada) vs. Los Ingobernables (Hiromu Takahashi & Evil)
The match begins with Sanada faking a handshake before attempting to take out Evil, a brawl quickly breaks out between everybody in the match. Bushi and Takahashi get the tags from their respective partners, Sanada trips up Takahashi so Bushi can nail him with a drop kick. Sanada drags Evil from the ring apron and he throws him into the barricade, Bushi takes his shirt off and he chokes Takahashi with it. Sanada tags in and he locks Takahashi in the Paradise Lock before nailing him with a drop kick, Bushi tags back in and he locks Takahashi in the STF. Takahashi eventually gets to the ropes to break the submission hold, Sanada tags back in and he nails a swinging Takahashi with a European uppercut.
Takahashi propels a charging Sanada into the turnbuckle, Evil tags in and he drops an interfering Bushi before nailing Sanada with a senton bomb. Bushi falls on Sanada and Evil nails them both with a senton bomb, Evil hits Sanada with a fisherman buster suplex for a near fall. Sanada recovers and he nails a charging Evil with a drop kick, Bushi tags in and he nails Evil with a missile drop kick. Takahashi interferes and Bushi eventually knocks Takahashi out of the ring before landing a suicide dive. Bushi and Sanada double team Evil for a near fall, Bushi goes for his finisher and Takahashi interferes to nail him with a super kick. Evil cracks Bushi with a lariat for a near fall after a super kick from Takahashi, Evil locks Bushi in a modified chicken wing to force a tap out.
Winners: Los Ingobernables (Hiromu Takahashi & Evil)
Chaos (Kazuchika Okada & Gedo) vs. Chaos (Toru Yano & Jado)
The match begins with Yano quickly playing his mind games with Okada, Okada gets angry and he attacks Yano with a series of strikes. Jado and Gedo get the tags from their respective partners, Gedo fakes a handshake before tagging Jado in the eyes. Jado gets angry and he assaults Gedo with chops in the corner, Gedo recovers and he pops Jado with a series of jabs. Jado tries escapes and Okada interferes to nail him with a forearm strike, Okada tags in and he slams Jado before nailing him with a slingshot swanton bomb. Okada traps Jado in the corner before nailing him with European uppercuts, Jado looks for the tag and Okada knocks Yano off the ring apron.
Gedo tags in and he chokes Jado in the corner, Gedo drops Jado in the middle of the ring before landing a fist drop. Gedo then locks Jado in the chin lock to slow things down, Jado escapes and he kicks Gedo in the face before dropping him with a clothesline. Okada and Yano get the tags from their respective partners, Yano removes the turnbuckle pad and he causes Okada to miss a drop kick. Yano rolls up a charging Okada for a near fall, Okada recovers and he catches a charging Yano with a drop kick. Yano again catches Okada with a roll up for another near fall, Okada catches a charging Yano with a flapjack before tagging Gedo in. Yano sends Gedo into the exposed turnbuckle and then he knocks a charging Okada into him, Yano nails Okada and Gedo with low blows before rolling Gedo up for a three count.
Winners: Chaos (Toru Yano & Jado)
NJPW G1 Climax 27 A Block: Yuji Nagata vs. Yoshi-Hashi
The match begins with Nagata going to work on the arm of Yoshi-Hashi, Yoshi-Hashi starts working on the arm of Nagata as well. Nagata then takes Yoshi-Hashi down with a headlock, Yoshi-Hashi escapes and he locks Nagata in a headlock of his own. Nagata escapes and he briefly locks Yoshi-Hashi in the arm bar, Yoshi-Hashi trips up Nagata and he holds him down with a head scissors. Nagata escapes and misses a penalty kick against Yoshi-Hashi, Yoshi-Hashi and Nagata have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Yoshi-Hashi catches a kick from Nagata and he nails him with an elbow strike to the knee. Nagata recover and he drops Yoshi-Hashi with a kick to the back of the leg, Nagata picks up Yoshi-Hashi and he assaults him with knee strikes.
Yoshi-Hashi rolls out of the ring and he drags Nagata out before tossing him into the barricade a few times, Yoshi-Hashi then starts nailing Nagata with a series of chops. Yoshi-Hashi throws Nagata back into the ring and he nails him with more chops, Yoshi-Hashi traps Nagata on the top rope before landing a drop kick for a near fall. Yoshi-Hashi slows things down by holding Nagata in the chin lock, Yoshi-Hashi releases the hold so he can stomp away on Nagata. Nagata gets up and he has another striking exchange with Yoshi-Hashi, Nagata eventually drops Yoshi-Hashi with a knee strike to the midsection. Nagata then attacks Yoshi-Hashi with a plethora of kicks, Yoshi-Hashi gets up and a forearm strike and chopping exchange breaks out with Nagata.
Nagata knocks Yoshi-Hashi into the corner with a kick to the upper body, Nagata then nails Yoshi-Hashi with a running boot to the face. Nagata then hits Yoshi-Hashi with a rope assisted neck breaker followed by an exploder for a near fall, Yoshi-Hashi recovers and he drops Nagata with a rolling neck breaker. Yoshi-Hashi then nails a cornered Nagata with a running chop, Nagata recovers and nails a charging Yoshi-Hashi with a belly to belly suplex. Nagata then places Yoshi-Hashi on the top rope, Yoshi-Hashi gets off the ropes and he nails Nagata with a power bomb for a near fall. Yoshi-Hashi goes back to the top rope and he nails Nagata with a swanton bomb for a near fall, Yoshi-Hashi follows that up by holding Nagata in the Butterfly Lock.
Nagata eventually gets to the ropes to break the hold, Yoshi-Hashi goes for something and Nagata drops him before applying the Nagata Lock. Yoshi-Hashi eventually gets to the ropes to break the Nagata Lock, Nagata nails a dazed Yoshi-Hashi with an enzaguri. Nagata then catches Yoshi-Hashi with a running knee strike and a Saito suplex for a near fall, Yoshi-Hashi catches Nagata with a small package for a near fall. Yoshi-Hashi follows that up by nailing Nagata with a spinning mule kick to the head, Yoshi-Hashi then drops a charging Nagata with a clothesline for a near fall. Yoshi-Hashi and Nagata have a forearm strike exchange in the middle of the ring, Nagata misses a kick and Yoshi-Hashi nails him with a clothesline. Yoshi-Hashi then catches Nagata with a knee strike for another near fall, Yoshi-Hashi goes for Kharma and Nagata breaks free.
Yoshi-Hashi then catches a swinging Nagata with a lung blower, Yoshi-Hashi nails Nagata with Khama for the three count.

NJPW G1 Climax 27 A Block: Togi Makabe vs. Bad Luck Fale
The match begins with Fale assaulting Makabe with some forearm strikes, Makabe and Fale exchange some shoulder tackles. Makabe eventually drops a swinging Fale with a shoulder tackle, Fale rolls out of the ring and Makabe tosses him into the barricade. Fale recovers and he tosses Makabe into the barricade, Fale grabs a chain and he wraps it around the neck of Makabe. Fale drags Makabe into the crowd and he tosses him into a bunch of chairs, Fale picks up Makabe and he throws him through a barricade. Fale returns to the ring and Makabe eventually gets back in there as well, Fale stomps away on a downed Makabe before just standing on him.
Fale then slams on Makabe and then sits on him for a near fall, Makabe tries fighting back and Fale nails him with a Samoan drop for a near fall. Makabe gets to his knees and Fale nails him with some more strikes, Fale goes for the Bad Luck Fall and Makabe escapes to eat more forearm strikes. Makabe recovers and he drops a charging Fale with a clothesline, Makabe then nails Fale with a series of running clotheslines in the corner. Makabe climbs the ropes to nail Fale with a series of punches, Makabe drops a charging Fale with another lariat for a near fall. Fale recovers to drop a charging Makabe with a shoulder block, Fale catches Makabe with a splash for a near fall. Fale goes for the Grenade and Makabe drops him with a clothesline, Makabe misses a charge in the corner and Fale nails him with multiple avalanches.
Fale goes for the Bad Luck Fall and Makabe escapes, Makabe and Fale catch each other with clotheslines until Fale goes down. Makabe nails a standing Fale with a top rope knee drop, Makabe goes for the King Kong Knee Drop and Fale catches him before landing the Grenade for the three count.
Winner: Bad Luck Fale
NJPW G1 Climax 27 A Block: Hirooki Goto vs. Tomohiro Ishii
The match begins with both men attacking each other with shoulder tackles, Goto then drops Ishii with a forearm strike. Goto works over Ishii until Ishii drops him with a shoulder tackle, Ishii then works over Goto with some chops. Ishii traps Goto in the corner while continuing his assault with chops, Ishii starts attacking Goto with some headbutts as well. Goto tries fighting back and Ishii drops him with a headbutt, Ishii follows that up by nailing Goto with a suplex. Goto recovers and he eventually nails Ishii with a clothesline, Goto then attacks Ishii with a series of kicks. Goto traps Ishii in the corner before landing a spinning heel kick followed by a side suplex, Goto goes to the top rope and Ishii meets him up there.
Ishii and Goto exchange blows while they remain on the top rope, Goto and Ishii also exchange some headbutts that rock them badly. Ishii recovers first and he nails Goto with a superplex for a near fall, Goto recovers and he nails Ishii with a modified neck breaker. Goto traps Ishii in the corner before nailing him with a few running clotheslines, Ishii and Goto exchange clotheslines in the middle of the ring. Goto eventually drops Ishii with a clothesline followed by a Yoshi Hiroshi for a near fall, Goto then drops Ishii with a forearm strike. Ishii recovers and he nails a kicking Goto with an enzaguri followed by a power bomb for a near fall, Ishii then connects with the sliding lariat for anear fall.
Ishii looks for the brain buster and Goto counters by applying the sleeper hold, Goto goes for the GTR and Ishii escapes. Ishii eventually catches Goto with a headbutt followed by forearm strikes, Goto then drops Ishii with a headbutt of his own. Goto waits for Ishii to get up before nailing him with a kick for a near fall, Goto then hits Ishii with a pair of GTR’s for the three count.
Winner: Hirooki Goto
NJPW G1 Climax 27 A Block: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
The match begins with Sabre Jr dragging Tanahashi to the ground and he applies the cross face, Sabre Jr gets up and he works over the leg of Tanahashi. Tanahashi breaks free and he applies a chin lock to Sabre Jr, Sabre Jr breaks free and separates for Tanahashi. Sabre Jr drags Tanahashi back to the ground before tying up his legs, Tanahashi trips up Sabre Jr and he twists away on his ankle. Sabre Jr escapes and both competitors get to their feet, Sabre Jr starts working over the arm of Tanahashi. Tanahashi catches a ducking Sabre Jr with a few kicks to the face, Tanahashi then drops Sabre Jr with an arm drag followed by a slam.
Tanahashi goes for a senton bomb and Sabre Jr catches him in an arm bar, Sabre Jr rolls for a triangle choke and Tanahashi gets to the ropes. Sabre Jr grounds Tanahashi before crushing his arm on the mat below, Sabre Jr stomps away on the injured arm of Tanahashi. Tanahashi tries fighting back and Sabre Jr nails the injured arm with a pele kick, Sabre Jr traps Tanahashi in the ropes before just sitting on him. Sabre Jr then attacks Tanahashi with a series of European uppercuts, Sabre Jr just wrenches away on the arm of Tanahashi. Sabre Jr then decides to lock Tanahashi in a modified octopus stretch, Tanahashi escapes and he drops Sabre Jr with a drag screw leg whip.
Tanahashi then drops kicks Sabre Jr in his injured knee, Tanahashi looks for another dragon screw leg whip and Sabre Jr applies a standing straight arm bar to him. Tanahashi escapes and he drops Sabre Jr with another dragon screw leg whip, Tanahashi goes for the Texas clover leaf and he eventually gets it on Sabre Jr. Sabre Jr quickly gets to the ropes to break the submission hold, Sabre Jr catches Tanahashi with a roll up before just kicking away at Tanahashi. Sabre Jr bends the arm of Tanahashi before just stomping on it a few times, Sabre Jr then attacks Tanahashi with a series of strikes. Sabre Jr looks for another kick and Tanahashi nails him with a dragon screw leg whip, Sabre Jr then locks a charging Tanahashi in a modified arm bar.
Tanahashi slams Sabre Jr to escape the submission and then Sabre Jr catches him in a roll up for a near fall, Sabre Jr again kicks away at the arm of Tanahashi. Tanahashi recovers and drops a charging Sabre Jr with a sling blade, Tanahashi nails Sabre Jr with a High Fly Flow. El Desparado interferes and Tanahashi takes care of him, Sabre Jr catches Tanahashi during a second High Fly Flow and he locks him in a modified rings of Saturn and Tanahashi submits after a long struggle.
Winner: Zack Sabre Jr.
NJPW G1 Climax 27 A Block: Kota Ibushi vs. Tetsuya Naito
The match begins with Naito spits on Ibushi and then he tosses him out of the ring, Ibushi returns to the ring and he attacks Naito from behind. Ibushi then lands a double stomp on a sliding Naito, Ibushi backs Naito into the corner with some forearm strikes. Naito traps Ibushi in the ropes before nailing him with a rope assisted inverted neck breaker, Naito drags Ibushi into the ring before landing another inverted neck breaker followed by a drop kick. Naito then drags Ibushi to the ring apron before nailing him with a neck breaker, Ibushi eventually gets back in the ring and Naito just stomps on him/
Naito traps Ibushi in the corner before assaulting him with more strikes, Naito gets angry and he chokes Ibushi in the corner. Naito drops Ibushi before locking him in a butterfly stretch, Ibushi eventually gets to the ropes to break the submission. Naito then drops Ibushi with a neck breaker for a near fall, Ibushi tries fighting back and he eventually levels Naito with a drop kick. Ibushi then attacks Naito with a flash of strikes and a hurricarana, Naito rolls out of the ring and Ibushi catches him with the Golden Triangle. Ibushi tosses Naito back into the ring and he misses a springboard dive, Naito looks for his corner drop kick and Ibushi nails him with a European uppercut to halt the momentum.
Naito eventually traps Ibushi in the ropes before nailing him with a slingshot drop kick to the back, Naito traps Ibushi on the middle rope before nailing him with a rope assisted neck breaker. Naito nails Ibushi with a German supelx for a near fall, Naito goes for a pump handle slam and he winds up nailing Ibushi with an enzaguri. Ibushi recovers and he crushes Naito with a snap dragon suplex, Ibushi starts attacking a downed Naito with some kicks. Naito gets to the ropes and Ibushi decides to assault him with more kicks, Ibushi clobbers a charging Naito with a lariat for a near fall. Ibushi looks for a power bomb and Naito escapes to hit him with a release German suplex, Naito then hits Ibushi with a pump handle side slam for a near fall.
Naito grabs Ibushi and he places him on the top rope before following him up there, Naito nails Ibushi with a super reverse hurricarana for a near fall. Naito goes for Destino and Ibushi counters by propelling him into the turnbuckle, Naito rolls to the ring apron and Ibushi second rope German suplexes him back into the ring for a near fall. Ibushi goes for a power bomb and Naito counters with a tornado DDT, Naito places Ibushi on the top rope and Ibushi escapes and looks for the power bomb. Naito escapes and remains on the top rope as Ibushi catches him with a pele kick, Ibushi nails Naito with a middle rope pile driver for a near fall.
Ibushi goes for a double under hook power bomb and Naito blocks it by shoving him into the turnbuckle, Naito hits Ibushi with a rolling kick. Naito looks for Destino and Ibushi attacks Naito with chops to break free, Naito hits Ibushi with Destino for a near fall. Naito hits Ibushi with Destino again and he gets the three count.
